Facilities
Milleara Primary School is housed in two brick buildings on spacious grounds.
All classrooms are carpeted, heated and fully air conditioned. The school has recently opened a Middle Years Learning Centre. This consists of two classrooms connected by a moveable wall. These classrooms are 50 per cent larger than our regular classrooms. Each room has six desktop computers and an interactive whiteboard. The Middle Years Learning Centre enhances student learning through providing more flexible working space and increased access to learning technologies.
The school also has a computer lab housing 17 up to date desktop computers. All student computers in the school are fully networked and provide access to the internet.
The school library houses thousands of books and promotes a love of reading and literature.
The art room provides space and equipment for the development of creative art skills.
The school’s Multi-purpose room is used for the Perceptual Motor program, Phys Ed lessons, performances and special assemblies.
The Infant classroom is a double classroom and is adjacent to an interior toilet for ease of access and student safety.
The school grounds include native gardens, a large asphalted area, a school oval, two adventure playgrounds and a large sandpit.
